Subaru is an automaker that is committed to more than just the production of an exceptional collection of vehicles. It also wants to participate in making the world a better place! That is why it established the Subaru Love Promise. One part of this pledge entails the Subaru Loves Learning initiative which seeks to provide people with greater accessibility to knowledge. An example of this cause in action can be seen through the company's most recent collaboration with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) this August.

The plan behind this partnership is to present students nationwide with award-winning science books. 477 retailers are projected to participate, and the goal is to ultimately donate 76,000 copies to students in grades K through 12. In doing so, both Subaru and the AAAS hope to inspire and prepare more students to pursue science-related studies in college. After all, statistics show that the 80 percent of the fastest growing jobs in the States are currently in the science field, meaning demand is higher than ever.
